Old Girls ***Explored***
These two 'old girls' see in their half century of service this year, both introduced into BR service during 1962. Direct Rail Services 37038 and 37087 'Keighley & Worth Valley Railway 40th Anniversary 1968-2008' are not exactly overtaxed with this single 'FNA' wagon and nuclear flask crossing the River Esk at Mossband Bridge, the 6C22 Hunterston to Sellafield service on 11th April 2012. The days in service for 37087 are unfortunately numbered, it being earmarked for donating its power unit to a more versatile class 37/4. The bank holiday rains had swollen the River Esk and produced this temporary but very useful flooded area.
