Hidden In Glidden
This abandoned house is located near the intersection of Kerns Road and Highway 13 in the unincorporated Ashland County town of Glidden, Wisconsin. Even though it's within the city limits, the trees keep it fairly well hidden from view. The community is named after a founder of the Wisconsin Central Railroad. In 1963, a 10' 7", 665-pound black bear was hunted in the Glidden area. The town immediately took on the title of "Black Bear Capital of the World", and many local businesses made "Black Bear" a part of their name.
A cool way to view mine or anyone else's photostream is on fluidr.
