WECREATE Centers, designed to help women start businesses and build business capacity of women-led enterprises, launched on September 18, 2015.

U.S. Embassy Charge d'Affaires Julie Chung was joined by H.E. Dr. Sok Siphana, Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia and member of the the Lower Mekong Initiative (‎LMI) Eminent and Expert Persons Group, representatives from Emerging Markets Consulting and StartUp Cup, staff of WECREATE Cambodia, and other special guests to inaugurate the first Women's Entrepreneurial Center of Resources, Education, Access, and Training for Economic Empowerment (WECREATE) Center in the region.

A video from Scott Nathan, U.S. Department of State Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs, was among many of the inspiring messages heard today, as this center will make a profound impact on the development of women entrepreneurs in Cambodia.
