Chalkhill Blue (Polyommatus coridon).

Male.

Seaford.

One of my favourite Summer activities involves an early start to find the beautiful Chalkhill Blues as they are waking up. I'm lucky to have a good colony within a mile of where I live, although this year there were not too many opportunities as the wind seemed to be blowing too much all the time!!

Many thanks as ever to all that take the time to view, comment and fave my images. All the best for 2018 to you all.
