Monmouth Battlefield - General von Steuben
Campaign 1776 visits the Monmouth Battlefield State Park in July 2015. Monmouth Battlefield State Park preserves a rural, eighteenth century landscape of orchards, fields, woods and wetlands encompassing miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding; picnic areas, and a restored Revolutionary War farmhouse called the Craig House.
The Friends of the Steuben Monument at Monmouth Battlefield: This group's purpose is to advance German-American culture in the Central New Jersey region. They do this by maintaining the statue of General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben at Monmouth Battlefield State Park located in Manalapan New Jersey which was erected by the Steuben Society of America and the Friends of Monmouth Battlefield in 2004. Membership in this organization is free. Events that they plan will be advertised on their Facebook Page.
