Excellent stuff here. The EBX is definitely working it. I love these old industrial remnants-- it's sad stuff, in some ways, but important to remember.

... i think it's an ironic tribute that this fab shot was taken with a camera that couldn't more exemplify the wonderful qualities of plasticness...

the cross processing really gives it a look that is appropriate to the vintage of the building.

    Love your edit.

The story is a very common one and is hitting hard the American way of life.

I will share a brief story. My Mom came in 1977 to LA and her first job was in a JC Penny factory, doing final touches to buttons, garments pieces, etc., She was getting paid few pennies per piece finished plus an hourly rate. Few years later, they closed down the facility in LA and moved the operation oversea. Sounds familiar!? :-))

Currently, I have an architect friend who was making like 90K a year and his job was outsourced, with high speed internet connection, the plans to be drawn by computer are sent oversea now which are costing a fraction to the company. :(

    Have a great weekend.
