"A Tale of Two Skylines"

From Victoria Peak, you can see a view of the two skylines that, together, create the city we recognize as Hong Kong. In the foreground is Hong Kong proper, situated on Hong Kong Island. Across Victoria Harbour is Kowloon Peninsula, which borders the Chinese mainland 20 miles (32 km) to the north.

In this photo, you can also see Hong Kong's two tallest buildings, the International Finance Center 2 (IFC2) in the foreground to the extreme right of the frame. On the Kowloon side, you can see the International Commerce Center (ICC), the city's tallest. It is not unusual to misname the two buildings given the similarities of their acronyms, in addition to their appearances in design and height.
