5000 colors, Clemens Habicht, 5000 pieces
Puzzle was relatively easy, and I enjoyed assembling it. I do have a few quibbles about it though. First, I'm missing a piece, I'm 99% sure I did not lose it. Secondly, as frankhxp had previously pointed out, quite a few pieces were not completely cut through. I would guess 500 needed to be separated, and some connectors are cut so thinly that I damaged a few pieces trying to pull them apart. I probably spent several hours separating pieces. Also some of the pieces have a wrinkled appearance on the surface, probably due to the cutting process. The two halves of the puzzle are off-cut slightly. Finally the colors' transitions aren't always smooth as I would've thought. I'll put some close-ups on my photostream for those interested. Considering this puzzle was twice the price of other 5000 piece puzzles I had hoped for better quality. On the other hand, I don't regret my purchase, this isn't manufactured by a major puzzle company, I probably shouldn't expect Ravensburger or Clementoni quality. Maybe Joey Smith or frankhxp will have better luck with their puzzles.
