My rules for taking a 'selfie'.

1. Never look at the camera.

2. Never take a close up.

3. Take it in an iconic location (cliff edges on mountains are good).

4. Try to look heroic (even though you're knackered).

5. Get the position of the sun just right.

6. Don't fall off (I don't do action shots).

So this is me on Stac Pollaidh in the North West Highlands of Scotland looking at the sunrise between the mountains of Cul Mor (left) and Cul Beag (right).
