    This odd color was used only in one Duplo bucket in 1992, as a chair and a coffeepot.

      I don't get it, why are all these odd/rarely-used colors in the lower end of the numbering system? I would have assumed that red/white/black/etc would be first.

      I don't know, actually. They weren't exactly numbered in chronological order until sometime around the late 90s, I think.

      Even later colors aren't completely "in order", but that's because a color may be used for prototyping or canceled sets years before it's actually released.

      Are you interested in more of this color? I believe I have multiple copies of that one DUPLO bucket, all purchased used and intermixed with other things (I got to this yard sale really late and cleared out their DUPLO selection - my guess is that the people who lived there used to run a preschool).
