Eastern Kingbird (Tyrannus tyrannus) - Leach Lake, Creston

Had a great time birding with great people in Creston. We had Wild Turkeys, Forster's Terns, over 100 American White Pelicans, Bobolinks, Nashville Warblers, Least and Dusky Flycatchers, Redstarts and we even found a rare for the area Tennessee Warbler. Apart from birds we had Black Bear, Moose with Calves and Elk. Even though this Eastern Kingbird may have been the most common bird I saw there, I never tire of them. I highly recommend a visit to beautiful Creston in the Kootenays.
