Train in the city: Bute St, Cardiff

An Arriva Trains Wales Class 153 DMU is seen passing Bute St, whilst working the 2B10 1736 Cardiff Queen Street to Cardiff Bay service. The distance between Cardiff Queen St. and Cardiff Bay is 1 miles and 6 chains, and the journey time is 3 minutes, with a single DMU able to operate 5 return trips per hour. This is normally a Class 153 single car DMU, though a Pacer unit or Class 150 Sprinter substitute on occasions. This particular location (Bute St.) is not one I've used for photography before. The embankment on which the railway line sits here appears to have been recently cleared of undergrowth, making a pleasant change from the all too common jungle of Buddleia on the rail network, so I thought I'd give this spot a try.
