"What A Concept" Challenge Entry...Hyanide Concept Snowmobile

When I built my ride for Agent Janus I also wanted a second entry that would have been a high performance snowmobile customized for secret agent work, but time restraints nixed the plan. Bummed that I didn’t get to build a snowmobile and with icy tundra still in mind, I sought inspiration for the What A Concept build challenge. I plugged in keywords concept and snowmobile and like magic my next build appeared before me. Meet the Hyanide, a concept designed by Tilmann Schlootz and Oliver Keller that was packaged as a snowmobile, dirt bike, and all terrain vehicle and was first showcased at the 2006 Michelin Challenge Design competition. It can carry two riders and can move through deep mud, sand and snow terrains via a continuous rubber treaded track. The designers have no plans to build a real one…currently only their one fifth scale model and now this loosely based Lego model exists.
