勝鬨橋・Kachidoki Bridge

Kachidoki Bridge as seen from Takeshiba Pier. The bridge connects Tsukiji and a manmade island generally referred to as Tsukishima. The construction of this island elongated the mouth of the Sumida River. Technically speaking, it both forked and elongated the river, but the resulting channel is actually unnamed. But this channel is considered the mouth of the Sumida River.
