Great Cormorant - Wings Wide Open
Today I found a location near the harbour where cormorants fly just in front of it. However keeping the cormorants in the view finder is very hard since they fly so fast. It takes really great effort to accomplish a satisfactory shot with a super telephoto. Panning so fast to catch up with the darting bird can easily render the captured photograph unusable. It requires fine reflexes and iron nerves to take good shots! :)
This shot is actually cropped considerably since this cormorant is not in the centre of the frame in original photo. I tried to crop as little as I can manage. But the result seems satisfactory... at least at this stage.
