Pano of The Ruined Harbour at Seafield
Another pano using Microsoft's free ICE program. The large ruined blocks at Seafield, Kirkcaldy mark a harbour that never functioned as such. There was supposed to be a new railway stop / siding at Seafield and coal and other goods were to be transported by ship. Large commercial harbours at Kirkcaldy and Burntisland did all they could to block the fledgling harbour and it never did function as a business. There was quite a low tide the morning on our coastal walk from Seafield to Kinghorn and back and more commonly there is water all the way up to the left hand 1/3 of this photo. It was a warm but misty morning and so there is little sky definition in the shot, but I liked the panorama.
