Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is my second favourite city so far. Paris is the first. There was a lot to do and see here.

I stayed in a top floor terrace through Airbnb. It was wonderful! My hostess was Paula. She made me freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning with toast and jam and of course coffee. I got to sit out on the terrace over looking the city. On my birthday she even bought me a cake and had it ready with candles on it when I returned home. See I even called it home. Must have been good!

I felt thankful to stay on the outskirts of Barcelona to escape to somewhere quieter after a long day touring around.

I saw lots...the music hall, the Gaudi buildings, the Gaudi Park the cathedral. Got some secret tips on where to find the best view in the city and where to eat. I even met some Spanish locals and ended up playing Dominos with them.

Mostly, I walked the streets, through parks, along the sea walk by the beaches and had picnics. I window shopped, found some fantastic masks and filled up on decadent pastries. I got my toes painted. Just plain and simple had a great time!
