Nuremburg, Germany
The old city of Nuremberg (Nürnberg) in Germany is nick-named Little Venice because of all the bridges that cross waterways. It is very lovely. I had a nice time wandering over bridges, enjoying the quaint and relaxing water scenes and old buildings.

One of the shadows that falls on this old city, though, is that "AH" used to frequent it, says William from Germany. He wouldn't say his name, only his initials. He said that AH liked anything symetrical and Nuremberg is.

William currently lives in the only house in the city that wasn't bombed during the second world war. It's difficult to imagine now that all of these old bridges and buildings were once damaged by bombs. They look in perfect shape now thanks to restoration efforts.
