St. Andrew's Greensted-juxta-Ongar
This church has the distinction of being the oldest wooden church in the world, and one of the oldest wooden buildings still in use in Europe. It has a 12th century crusader's grave right by the door.

There are several headstones in the churchyard and I have photographed all of them, except the more recent markers which are for modern cremations. I have transcribed the burial register, 1813-1911, so have been able to identify stones where little of the inscription has survived.

The church was open when I visited, so I have been able to include tablets and brasses from inside the church.
