It's Good to Know You've Got a Friend
An ophaned baby squirrel and jackrabbit bond with each other while being cared for until they are able to be released. Once they are able to feed on their own, they will be placed with other older animals of their own species, and weaned from human contact so that they can cope with life in the wild. They were just starting on solid food, the carrots on the left. This shot was taken by my wife with her iPhone.
