Pseudotropic Futuro

The Futuro was designed in 1968 by Matti Suuronen (born 1933) to be used as a holiday house. 96 were built, half in Finland and half in other countries. This Futuro was photographed in April 2011 on the campus of the University of Canberra. Although the Futuro superficially seems to be a pseudotrope of a flying saucer, its large windows reveal that it would not be able to survive space flight. It is likely, therefore, that it is actually a pseudotrope of a hyperspaceship intended to travel through hyperspace rather than space. Whether or not it is connected with the pseudotropes of an intergalatic cruiser and an intersystemic scout ship that are also in Canberra is at present unclear.
