The correspondence of convergence

There are two ways to accomplish this photo. The quickest is to take your Holga, make one exposure rightside up and a double exposure upside down and hope like hell you lined up the image in the viewfinder. Would you believe I pulled this one off hand-held? The second way is to probably stay up three or four nights in a row with too little sleep and then spend some time staring at images on a computer. They all start to look a little like this.

Actually, this one turned out as good as I could have hoped it would. I do not normally exercise the Holga in this fashion, but I have been seeing a new bridge lately.

Shhh, don't tell the other bridge.

So I figured I would play around a bit, not take things too seriously, see what happened. Plastic camera strikes again.

It almost seems to me like some artist rendering of a study of the bridge as sketched by hand. I also like how this image really draws your focus to very specific elements of the bridge's architecture.

But mostly it was just for fun.
