Mexican-American soprano and Chicago native Angela Zúñiga began learning piano at the age of nine and fell in love with singing while pursuing her Bachelor of Music Education at Northeastern Illinois University. After two years of teaching general music and choir with Chicago Public Schools, Angela began her graduate studies in the fall of 2016 at DePaul School of Music in pursuit of a Master of Music in Vocal Performance.

Angela is a member of Vox3 Collective, an organization formed by performers to create innovative performances of art song, opera, and cabaret. Previously she appeared in Northwestern University's Vocal Career Seminar in scenes from Rigoletto as Gilda and scenes from Der Rosenkavalier as Sophie.

Angela appeared as a Studio Artist at Angels Vocal Art in Los Angeles, California performing scenes from Mozart's Die Zauberflöte as Pamina, Delibes' Lakmé in the title role, J. Strauss' Die Fledermaus as Adele, as well as a program of Spanish music in De España al Nuevo Mundo: Songs from Spain and the New World.

Zúñiga is also passionate about music ministry and is currently a soprano section leader at Saints Faith, Hope, and Charity Parish in Winnetka, IL.
