Well, I think I’m finally ready to share some images from my most recent trip to the Yukon Territory! I had an incredible 16 days in the territory this fall, providing some incredible photography opportunities, some of my most memorable back country experiences, and some of my worst backcountry experiences. We also met a crazy number of great people and fellow photographers along the way. Truly a trip I won’t soon forget.

This lovely mountain face was my subject for a largely cloud-free evening. Usually I’d like a little drama in the sky, but frankly, the way sunset light casts on this face was more than enough drama for me! Since this scene was close to camp, this evening was probably one of my most relaxing shoots of the trip. A very welcome change after being up and out of the tent before sunrise, getting up in the middle of the night every night, and walking for hours through the day to find places like this. Hope you enjoy, and a lot more to come!

Taken with a Canon 5D IV and a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop
