Selinsgrove's 1894 town baseball team, regarded as one of the best ever assembled in Selinsgrove . In the late 1880s and early 1890s, Selinsgrove had as many as five different teams, but by 1893 the teams were consolidated into one strong unit, which was on a par with the best teams in the area.
