Chestnut-headed Oropendola (Psarocolius wagleri)

At El Queremal, Dagua, Valle del Cauca, Colombia along the old road between Cali and Buenaventura.

This is the Chestnut-headed Oropendola (Psarocolius wagleri). It is a beautiful large icterid that is a resident breeder in the Caribbean coastal lowlands from southern Mexico to central Costa Rica, both slopes of southern Costa Rica and Panama, and the Pacific lowlands of Colombia and north-eastern Ecuador.
