a flourish of jasmine and purple bougainvillea

Newer Older

I have got here very late today - just seem to have lost the day in a welter of things. I don't think I have achieved what I wanted to which is to show you the beauty of the courtyard outside of my bathroom. There are two climbing star jasmines flowering and perfuming the space and the bougainvillea is so high that it is almost a tree. There is just a profusion of blooms and blossoms everywhere.

I feel as if I can breathe in its fragrance from here, Ilse...

Have recently visited some friends whose whole house is flooded with the same fragrance from a huge amount of jasmine growing just outside their dining room's double doorway (which is kept open). It was wonderful!!

This is awe-inspiring Ilse.. The first time I saw this,I was struck by its amazing beauty..and each time I see it,I'm enchanted again!!!Superb choice of B&W tones my friend ! I think one of the most important things that make it so special is the varying tones..and there's so much to look at here ..Wow!

Ilse I can only begin to imagine how heavenly it must be. The scents would be divine I am sure.
The B&W is nice but I must say the colours help for me to grasp how beautiful it is.
