Rotating blubber cutter

The steam powered rotating blubber cutter. (Sounds like the heavy-duty alternative to liposuction?)

This is the device that A G Bennet calls a 'chopper' on p.104 in his Whaling in the Aantarctic, London 1931.

Related to these mincing machines.

Possibly the foundations for a bone saw to the left. I'll return to see if it is fastened there, or just randomly parked. Does not make sense to have bone saws on both sides of the flensing plane.
