Berrydown Court - gatehouse building

Berrydown Court near Overton was built by Edwin Lutyens in 1897. Not one of the better known Lutyens houses and I was surprised to drive past its entrance on the way into Basingstoke. The service buildings are formed into a gatehouse. The walls are roughcast painted white and the roofs are in red tile. A quick search for images on the Internet shows that the house is finished in similar materials. A pity that there seems to be no public access to it - but then it was designed to be a private home, after all.
