Float like a butterfly...
But doesn't sting like a bee... : )
This "Butterbutt" (Yellow-Rumped Warbler) was hovering and picking the fruit from a Red Cedar tree, This shot was one of many, but this one I got that was facing the sun more. They flutter around when they do this, it's really something to watch, really beautiful actually. Most times they will sit on a branch and eat from there, other times they'll do the flutter thing. I won't tell you how many shots it took to get this one. heheh
I saw a LOT of these, probably around 100 or so, and I saw them at other places too, they must be flying through, or something.
Taken today in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was 18 ° F this morning when I went out, I was surprised to see so many (of all kinds of) birds out.
I intentionally had this cropped so that the 'scene' was there, I could've made the bird larger, but I like scenery in my shots. heheh
