When you think of making a wonderful picture of a wonderful landscape (Eyjafjallajökull), and a bunch of nosy cows spoil the pleasure!
When I look at this picture I can feel still the joy of this moment. The whole bunch was miles away when I arrived at the fence, and they would be a nice detail in this landscape on this wonderful day. But as soon as I arrived at the fence the first cows moved in my direction and very soon they started hurrying towards me. Before I realised at least 20 animals were already trying to press their noses against me, and competing for attention. I never felt that popular in my life before.
It even became more hilarious when a Japanese couple on honeymoon joined, with the bride and groom in their marriage garments (she in a long white dress), he taking the pictures. I have never seen a group of cows so interested in this somewhat peculiar situation.
