A VERY SPECIAL LITTLE LADY

Built in 1920 by Andrew Barclay Sons & Co in Caledonia Works, No.1719 was designed for industrial work and avoided the cruel axes of the scrapyard to be restored and is now resident at the East Somerset Railway. In 1985 she was renamed 'Lady Nan' and smartly and befittingly turned out in Caledonian Railway blue.

Having driven her, she has a special place in my heart.

[THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO FAVES AND/OR COMMENTS ON MY IMAGES. ALWAYS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED]
