Good Circuit Boards Require Good Clamping #3

Board on left full of burr's due to poor clamping which results in

vibration and burrs. Board on right made with better clamping through

use of fender washers.

    Wow! Nice result. I've had 2 mills that produced the circuit board on the left. I can't wait to try proper clamping.

    John_NY_LMR Good clamping helps a lot. I find these two steps help a lot:

    1. Put the bit shaft deep into the chuck to reduce wobble.

    2. Consider doing multiple passes @ 1 mil increments. Deep cuts create lots of issues.
