Street Photography

I tend to use small format cameras for street. My personal preference is a small, quiet, digital camera with an articulating LCD.

On a full-frame 35mm SLR body, I have used 24, 28, 35, 50, and 85mm focal lengths for street photography. The 35mm focal length is my personal favorite.

On a full-frame 35mm rangefinder body, I have used 21, 28, 35, 40, 45, and 90mm focal lengths for street photography. The 35mm focal length is my personal favorite.

On an APS digital mirrorless, I have used 16, 23, and 56mm focal lengths. The 23mm focal length is my personal favorite.

I have never used a large format camera for street photography. I have, however, occasionally used a medium format TLR.

Recently, the Fuji X-Pro2 in the totally silent electronic shutter mode and mounted with a 23mm f/2 lens has become my favorite street camera.
