What a view
The previous day had been dull. So dull that I haven't bothered posting any of the photos.
This particular morning began with a twist: the bus broke down at the top of Honister Pass, requiring me to re-plan the day's activities. Thankfully, I hadn't walked any of the fells in this area so it was up Dale Head. And what a view I was rewarded with. This is looking north down Newlands valley, Hindscarth to the left and the ridge with Maiden Moor and Catbells to the left.
In the distance is Skiddaw with a puff of cloud around it, and Blencathra further to the right.
