Flame Carrying Fox, Marsden Imbolc 2012

50mm, f/2.8. My fingers were numb at this point and I was fumbling, trying to change between f/2 and f/4. But I couldn't see or feel what I was doing, so ended up midway, at f/2.8.

The Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 afs is a great lens for shooting portraits at night. I feel like I should thank Nikon for a lot of these shots. It handles the fire very well. My 24mm f/2.8 would be been awful at this.

Have a look at my Marsden Imbolc set for more info on this pagan festival.
