Popping Soap Bubble

Newer Older

Whoaahh! This is a definite improvement on my last attempt. If I can improve on this shot by capturing some reflections in the bubble too, then I'll be very pleased. Suffice to say this one is nicely in focus and the early morning sunshine has done a great job of lighting the destruction.

This is naturally lit, i.e. just using sunlight. (Thought I'd mention that as many people will be interested in how I've achieved 'speed' in this photograph. The answer is the early morning sunlight!!!)

Thought you might want to know, someone stole this and uploaded it on dA...

Fantastic shot, though! That can't have been easy...

Thanks guys. I'm not quite sure how to report someone on deviant art, but it looks like he/she has been rumbled. This image has been stolen 3 or 4 times already, but thanks to people like you, people get found out. I might leave it at that, but if you want to report them to any admin at deviant art, then that's more than fine by me.

    Hey Richard,
Unless our name is jo-anne, someone is trying to win a contest with this pic on photobucket photobucket.com/ibeatyou?comp=157999#entry/1935609
name of the contest; point of view.

Besides that it's an amazing shot!!

Thanks Hans. I feel I should apologise because this kind of thing happens a lot. But there's not much I can do to stop people copying low def images like that. I try and take it all as a backhanded compliment. :-) The good news is that these people normally tend to get rumbled in the end!
