Macaroons from Walls'
These are far and away the best macaroons I have ever had. They come from a bakery in Hewlett on Long Island. Every year my father goes there at the crack of dawn before Passover and fights off herds and herds of yentas to get more than our fair share. One of these years he isn't going to survive to tell the tale. Chag Sameach!
