Potomac River Dawn
The first rays of the sun, just cresting the treetops to the east, selectively paint the rapids of the Great Falls of the Potomac River. The water was high this day giving it a chocolate milk look. This is another one from the archives that I've always liked and decided it was "post worthy". If you've never visited this natural wonder and are in the DC area please make a point of doing so. You won't regret it! :)
Please take a moment and click on the image to see it large on a black background. It really looks nicer that way and thank you in advance for looking at my work and for any comments, critiques and favorites. :)
