Mexico to Canada in a Tesla Model S
I'm the Managing Director of PlugInsights, an electric vehicle focused research firm, part of Recargo, Inc. See our website at www.pluginsights.com.

These are photos from a trip i took from Mexico to Canada from November 20, 2013 to November 25, 2013 in a Tesla Model S battery electric vehicle.

Total miles: 3121.9
Time in route: 114 hours
Total gas consumed: zero gallons
Total fuel cost: zero dollars

The north/south corridor between Mexico and Canada only opened for the first time on October 31, 2013, when additional Supercharger sites were added which allowed the Model S to fuel its batteries at intervals of 150 miles or less for the whole journey.

I went from my home in Thousand Oaks, CA, south to Tijuana Mexico (via the Otay Mesa border crossing), then north to Canada, and finally back to Thousand Oaks CA.
