At the offices of digital creative agency Purple, Rock, Scissors in Orlando, Florida, an Integrated Display and Environmental Awareness System, or IDEAS, is demonstrated for members of the news media. The technology being developed at the Kennedy Space Center is designed to help technicians do their jobs more efficiently and safely. The glasses become a wearable computer system much like a heads-up display. It can provide various means of communication and access to documentation needed to complete a task. Purple, Rock, Scissors is partnering with NASA to integrate the hardware with the software and providing feedback from those testing the system.
