Cream dropped into a small aquarium. A blue gel on a flash above the drop, a red gel on a flash from the left front corner and the manual flash with a greenish gel from the right front corner to catch the flow of the cream under the water surface. All the Speedlites are set to 1/64.

When you use cream as the dropper liquid, do you need to change the water after each drop or do you do something else to dissipate the cream? I know how many tries it takes to get a shot a like this, and I can't imagine you change the water each time -- but doesn't the water become a bit cloudy after a few drops?

This particular one worked on the first shot. I usually only get two shots before the water becomes too cloudy for a clear effect under the surface. A lot of work with changing the water so often and then waiting for the air bubbles to dissipate.
