Rare Sky-wide rays : Anticrepuscular rays and crepuscular rays [Panorama] , France
Backdrop : While I was waiting for the Super Moonrise ...(29/08/2015)
For few months, I have been really curious about observing anticrepuscular rays : these rays which seem to converge at the opposite point of the sun (antisolar point)
Basically, they are not rare. The only thing that makes them particular compared to usual sun rays is that they are not bright and contrasted. Consequently, they are hardly spottable to the naked eye.
While I was excited to capture this beautiful phenomenon, I noticed that these rays were even visible across the sky !
I suppose we can call this : (Anti)Crepuscular Arch in the sens that these anticrepuscular rays are travelling the whole sky.
To sum up, on the left side of the photograph we see usual crepuscular rays whereas on the other side (right) we see anticrepuscular rays.
Bad Panorama ...
You may have noticed that the panorama is not entirely well-stitched.
Sorry, I am not specialist of taking panoramas ^^
