Learning at the Ashley Down Orphanages
Each of the children at the Ashley Down Orphanages was educated up to the age of 14. George Müller was criticised for the education he gave the orphans, accused of stealing the factory of their fodder. Müller built school rooms into each of the orphan houses at Ashley Down and hired teachers and a school inspector. The pass rate was very high.
