Singapore Noodles - Global Vegetarian AUD9.80
Singapore Noodles - vegetables and been shoots tossed in curry sauce and served with thin rice noodles
The Singapore Noodles were just as it described. The missing keyword is "stir fried", which mean that there wasn't a smoky charring that a good Singapore Noodle should have. The curry sauce was overly sweet and too saucy. Aren't Singapore Noodles usually rather dry?
On a more positive note, it wasn't greasy, probably because it wasn't stir fried in oil!

Global Vegetarian, 499 North Road, Ormond. As a narrow-minded meat eater, I will admit to some scepticism about a menu with dishes such as polenta with tangy bean and tomato stew, and cashew nut stir-fry. However, the place seems perennially busy, the food has real flavour and I'm eating humble deep-fried tofu bar.
