Close - Alpha's Modern-Yaki with Omega's Dried Shrimp and Ao Nori topping
I was quite surprised how well this turned out! The Mi Goreng was al dente enough and the flavour was quite close to the yakisoba we wanted to imitate. I gave the noodles a slight charring by holding it over a naked gas flame... maybe that helped? :P

Feng and Mum's birthday at mum's place.
Omega and Hong bought a huge sushi and sashimi platter plus 3 other sushi packs from Suzuran. Julia and I made okonomiyaki, including a Modan-Yaki (Modern Yaki) with Mi-Goreng noodles flavoured with supplied kicap manis and Julia added Worchestershire sauce and a bit of sugar, all topped with okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayonaise. We finished every last bit!
