Before tossing - Mum's Kerabu Salad
I absolutely adore kerabu! It is a Malay-style salad with daun kesom, Vietnamese mint, and kerisik, toasted shredded coconut and ground toasted dried shrimp 虾米. Over the border in Thailand, this would be a "yum", with coriander, ground toasted rice and mint instead. Both good :)
