Ebi Okonomiyaki + Modern (noodles) - Jugemu and Shimbashi AUD13+6 - top
When our Prawn and Noodle Okonomiyaki arrived, I was quite amazed at the effort that went into decorating it. Usually, the mayonnaise and plum sauce are squirted on in a cross-hatch pattern. At Jugemu and Shimbashi, extra frills were added with a toothpick. The addition of noodles to okonomiyaki makes it the "Modern" version. Perhaps that was our mistake. The noodles seemed a bit plain and there wasn't enough sauce to go around.
