Fried Beef Dumplings - Ants Bistro AUD6 for 6
Better than Ants Bistro in Box Hill with the 左宫鸡 Minister Chicken in its sweet, tangy and spicy sauce a favourite among my colleagues!
The fried dumplings are also quite good with moist fillings in a thin chewy pastry. I prefer the pastry to be a bit thicker for more bite. The beef dumplings also had a finely chopped Chinese celery which is a good combination.
We also had a taste of the noodles in hot and sour soup which was quite spicy and garlicky. Very nice. A bargain at AUD7.
