Lamb giros in pita - Medallion Souvlaki and Cakes AUD9.50
The new shopfront of Medallion was tempting me with smells of lamb on the spit over hot, uh... gas burners :) So one day I decided I needed to try it.
And it was good! The meat was tender not too salty, like Stalactites tends to be. Still, Stalactites meat is a bit more juicy and packs mroe of a punch from the herbs and spices.
They used to be a cake and coffee place, but adding a souvlaki and giros bar seems to have paid off. The sidewalk tables were packed with a lunch crowd.
